On December 15, 2016 there was organized the event “Be Different” by Science, Innovation and Technology Agency (MITA) where Smart Factory was invited to make the presentation in 3D printing theme. As the global statistics show that almost every second new product which reaches the market, fail, so the organizers wanted to reveal how to prepare developing product innovation, what you need to think about to be economically successful.
During the event experts shared their insights and experiences about product innovation costs, new material and intellectual products creation process, main challenges in the creative process and also on the market. More importantly – experts were talking about possible solutions, the role of government support, the success recipes and opportunities for business cooperation with scientific institutions.
Smart Factory team made a presentation in topic “3D printing in prototyping and final parts production process”. We wanted to introduce to small and medium businesses 3D printing capabilities and usage, to reveal the latest 3D printing technologies, provide examples and introduce 3D technologies, which are inseparable from the 3D printing such as 3D scanning, 3D modeling, CNC milling, measurement and quality control, and also reverse engineering.
We are glad about the interest in 3D printing and we would like to thank to the organizers, what we have a possibility to educate the business sector about 3D technologies.
