The balance felt off. The grip edge felt too sharp. The surface was too smooth to feel secure in the hand.<\/p>\n
It was a small batch run – just enough to test fit before going to a larger run.<\/p>\n
And in that moment of realization, and whilst holding the part for the first time, they averted a costly error. Because software can never convey the feeling of a product. You need to hold it. Twist it. Use it.<\/p>\n
The next version? Five models. Each with a different feeling. And one of the models felt perfect in the hand.<\/p>\n
They failed early. We both had success. That’s the advantage of a small batch 3D print, fast, feeling learning.<\/p>\n
