“Why do you use AI-generated images instead of real client orders?”

Recently, our CEO was asked this question, which we believe is reasonable, and here is our response.

Consider a scenario where you ship your product to us for production, and then a week later you notice one of your parts on our promotional page without your knowledge. This breach of trust would occur immediately.

Our organization deals with confidential pieces of design, and we manufacture products that are not made available to the public. In our industry, confidentiality is foundational. When we produce a real-life example of a product for a client, we will always seek their permission prior to creating the example.

Often we will use neutral or rendered images, not for lack of available real-life photos, but because we understand that our clients’ trust is far more important than our marketing content.

Does this make sense?

We develop AI-generated images, which allow us to demonstrate concepts, materials, and engineering principles without infringing upon our customer’s intellectual property or NDA.

For us, the precedence lies with trust and not visibility. Therefore, if a client has placed their trust in our organization to design and 3D print their product, their trust takes precedence ahead of any promotional posting.

This will never change.
