Ten years ago, Euromold was the only large-scale international exhibition showcasing 3D printing. At that time, additive manufacturing was viewed merely as a niche or experimental technique.
Over time, this changed significantly. Today, there isn’t a trade show globally where 3D printing isn’t featured in some way. What was once considered a novelty has become mainstream innovation in healthcare, aerospace, and automotive industries.
According to our CEO, this shift proves that 3D printing is a reality that is here to stay.
The Evolution of Major Trade Shows:
- Medica (Germany): Now features 3D-printed prosthetics, implants, and bioprinting tech, reshaping personalized healthcare.
- OST-Messe (Germany): Highlights 3D printing in custom orthotics, braces, and assistive devices.
- Hannover Messe (Germany): Dedicates space to additive manufacturing, showing its impact on factories and supply chains.
- Warsaw Industry Week (Poland): Integrates 3D printing into tooling, prototyping, and small-batch production workflows.
While these events did not start as 3D printing exhibits, they can no longer survive without this technology.
